Ellen Blair (b.1998, she/they) is a photographer and printmaker based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She is interested in themes of Queer joy, community, mental health and intimacy. Drawing inspiration from the world around her - personal experiences and her queer communities - her work is a reflection of her inner world and a celebration of shared experiences. She seeks to create work that not only reflects her personal journey but also offers a space for others to find connection, comfort, and joy. Her solo show, Homemade Undercuts, celebrates hair as a canvas for Queer kinship and expression. First exhibited at Outburst Queer Arts Festival 2024, it was part of Circulation(s) Festival of Young European Photography exhibition in Paris in 2026. Her work has been featured in Aperture, Dazed and The Guardian, among others.
